Questions about Azure and Tenants

Hi,
my company has a Azure AD with one Tenant connected with the local AD and Office 365.
Now we have the need to activate the B2C (first step for tests purpose), but to keep it separated from the local AD, so the idea was to create a second tenant with just the B2C.
Is this a correct solution?

    You can, but you don't really need to. Azure AD B2C is a separate resource from your main Azure AD and your user directories don't intermingle.

    You can create an Azure AD B2C tenant that uses your existing Azure AD tenant as the 'home tenant' that has a subscription.
