OneDrive icon is missing

Hi,
I'm having a hard time locating the where OneDrive is syncing the data to. I deleted the sharepoint folder (has a blue building icon) off the local machine, but then it reappeared sometime later. I just wanted that folder gone. I'm not seeing the blue OneDrive icon on the taskbar either. Will uninstalling the OneDrive app, then delete the folder work? OneDrive is installed on a Windows 2012R2 server

Thank you,
KW

    Hi @Anonymous ,
Did you mean you want to remove the folder in SharePoint? Did the folder save in local or web?
Did you get any error messages when you trying to delete it?
As far as I know OneDrive sync folders from web to local, I suggest you go to web location and check if you can find the folder you want to remove.
If my understanding is incorrect, I suggest you be a bit more precise to explain your problem or you can upload a screenshot so that I can get more accurate solutions to this problem. I’m glad to help and follow up your reply.

    Hi,
No. I do not want to remove the folder on the web/sharepoint. Instead, I want to get rid of the synced folder on the local machine. Unfortunately I can't seem to find out where that folder is on sharepoint.

yes. I signed in to onedrive as myself to do the sync. I'm not talking about the personal files in OneDrive, I'm referring to the Sharepoint contents that OneDrive was syncing.
