Typically the machine will automatically pick the "recommended" Display settings for you once in Windows and has the Video Drivers installed.

I've never used the Display settings in 7.) Oobe System before.
I entered 144 in DPI (which I found is 150%, I added 1920 horiz and 1200 vert.
These settings do not get applied. Is this setting just not functional anymore?
I have one Task Seq where every pc that comes up should have those settings applied...
but it doesn't seem to take.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
MDT 2012/2013 defaults the screen resolution to 1024 x 768, but can be customized in CustomSettings.ini, and for the models you want to have screen resolution autodetection enabled on, simply set the screen resolution to a really low value. This will force Windows setup to autodetect the resolution.
