Adding Devices to a collection in SCCM using Task Sequence

Hi Professionals,

I am trying to create a Custom Task Sequence in SCCM that would use a PS Script. This PS Script is running on the client machine and is adding that client machine to a collection in SCCM Server. But due to firewall restrictions in the environment, this Script, which is using WinRM, is unable to add devices to the collection.

I would like to know if there is any other method using which we can add the device to a collection using SCCM Task Sequence?

    Don't use WinRM. Use a WMI directly or use a web service. Or, potentially better yet, don't rely on static membership.
