Azure MFA and Office Phone Extension

Hi,

My question is regarding Azure MFA and Office Phone Extension

If we use the https://aka.ms/mfasetup
We can setup the Office Phone with extension as an authentication method for MFA

But if we enable the combined registration page, the option to use extension is not available anymore

This is documented here "Combined Registration users won't see an option to use an extension with the Office phone option."

So my question is what is Microsoft planning to do in the future ?
Extension will never be available in the combined registration page ?
or this is just temporary and it will be available sometimes in the future ?

Hi @Kev , I spoke with the team and this is just by design unfortunately. I reached out to the feature team to see if anything is planned for this in the near future. However in the meantime I would suggest submitting a feature request here. I'm sorry that this is probably not the answer you were looking for.

I would also be interested in any updates. Use of MFA with extensions and/or phone trees continues to be a questions that recurs every few months in our organization.

So how does this work if the user adds an Office Phone to their Security Info tab on myaccount.microsoft.com?
