I created new project ASP.NET Core with React.js and publish this.
I went to published folder on cmd and run command 'dotnet project.dll'
And open the running web, i got a this error in cmd window.

Looks like you did not define the https port number in the app setting or command line.
Correct. But even though i did not define https port in debug mode, the application worked well.
Visual studio passes the port number on the command line when it launches the app.

Getting a very similar error on our react app as well, was a solution ever found for this?

Visual studio code uses launch settings. In production you typically pass the port numbers on the dotnet command line or in the app.setting file via the urls setting

Good evening. I am facing the same kind of issues.
When developing the application from Visual Studio everything works a charm.
When deploying to IIS it breaks.
In the context of IIS, the HTTPS error is simply here because you did not bind your site to HTTPS protocol.
I had it, I solved it by simply adding a new binding for HTTPS. This do not seem to have any impact on the OP error.
From what I saw there might be a link with some key configuration but guidance/help would be highly appreciated provided I start from scratch.
