Whilst creating Azure AD B2C, I am unable to see 'user flows' option or 'Policies' section

Hi there,

I'm following this guide to setup Azure AD B2C and after registering an app, the guide asks to visit the 'user flow' page under Policies but I am unable to see it.

I have tried using a private browser to make sure it's not cached and this didn't work sadly. This is what I'm presented with:

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

From your screenshot it looks like you aren't using an Azure AD B2C directory.

1-Please click on the "Get started" link in your screenshot. It'll take you to a guide on how to create an Azure AD B2C tenant.
2-After you create your B2C tenant, you'll then have to register your applications.
3-Finally, after the above two steps are complete, you should be able to create user flows in Azure AD B2C.

If you've already completed all the above, please select the Directory + Subscription icon in the portal toolbar, and then select the directory that contains your Azure AD B2C tenant.

Hi @JamesTran-MSFT - thanks for getting back to me.

So I don't seem to be able to select or create a tenant under my current subscription (free trial) but when I create a new directory, I can. However, when viewing the new directory and tenant, it complains of not being linked to a subscription:

Under the new directory, when I go to try and add a new subscription, it wants me to upgrade to the pay-as-you-go plan from the 12 month free trial.

Is this a restriction of the free trial plan?

I walked through the documentation and was able to link my "Visual Studio Enterprise Subscription" to my B2C tenant. Additionally, it does look like the "Free trial" has limitations when it comes to the available features on AzureAD.

On a Free Trial subscription, "Unlimited Single Sign-on" is the only free feature AzureAD offers as "always free". When it comes to the free features <12 months, there's no mention of B2C, throughout the documentation.

If you decide to upgrade from your free trial you can link your subscription here. Link an Azure AD B2C tenant to a subscription.
