I have a Dell Optiplex 780 (Intel(R)
Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
Q9650 @
3.00GHz) running Windows 10 pro. When I try to enable virtualization (hyper-v setup) the hyper-v>hyperv platform>hyper-v hypervisor is greyed out. The systeminfo.exe shows two of the hyper-v requirements set to NO.
c:>systeminfo.exe

I have turned on all the virtualization support parameters in the bios.
Based on my research I have all the requirements, but still cannot setup hypervisor.
replying to my own post. after further research i learned the the '-' in the coreinfo data indicates that the feature is not supported. So now my question is...............do I need to get another machine that support virtualization? Or is there a way to upgrade this machine?
