MDT Roles and MECM

Hi,

  1. I need to create 4 primary roles for APAC, Europe, North America, Latin America region
  2. Create role for each Country in APAC, Europe, North America, Latin America. Example Singapore, France, Canada, New York
  3. Computer to be part of Region and its respective country MDT roles. (Example Computer A has the APAC and Singapore Roles assigned)
  4. Add Applications to each Region and each Country MDT Roles as per the requirement. So that only applications part of the role will be installed during the OSD
  5. How does the applications added in each Region and each Country MDT Roles will get installed in Computer A?
  6. How does MDT roles and MECM will connect here?

Please help to understand the above questions

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Per my experience, the simplest way is to configure one boundary for each Country,one boundary group for each Region in Configuration Manager. Then create collection based on boundary group and deploy applications correspondingly. After the clients recieve the policy, it will download the application from available DP.
