Hi @moulong zhou , I'm afraid I can't determine how your problem arose. In my test, Edge can be minimized only by clicking the minimize button in the upper right corner. Can you provide steps to reproduce the problem? You can also try to reset the settings in Edge, or reinstall Edge, which may be useful to you.

Hi @moulong zhou , I tried to reproduce your issue but failed, it works normally in Miscrosoft Edge (Version 92.0.902.84), it keeps the window unchanged. Are you using a laptop? If this the case, it may be that the touchpad has been touched by mistake. You could also try to disable the extensions and test it again, which may also be the cause of the problem. If you can provide more relevant details, it will help solve the problem. For example, the Edge version and the steps to reproduce this issue.

My edge version is the latest.
yes, i am using a laptop and i did not touch the touchpad by mistake (sadly,i can't upload a vedio which should show you the mistake clearly).
I open edge first, then click vscode, if vscode is not in full screen mode, then I can see through the transparent vscode that nothing changes to edge, but when I click vscode in full screen, edge is automatically minimized. In fact, no matter what page I'm opening, as soon as I hit Maximize, I'll see the edge minimized (because I love transparent pages, I can see the edge minimized automatically through transparent pages).

It's worth mentioning that it's not just Edge that minimizes automatically in this case, but Chrome as well.

Hi @moulong zhou , Currently Microsoft Edge has been updated to version 93.0.961.38, will it still have the same issue? You mentioned that this issue exists in both Chrome and Edge, so I wonder if you have tested other non-browser applications and do they also have the same issue? What is your current operating system, windows or macos or other?

Yes, browsers based on other kernels such as Internet Explorer do not have this situation.
Yes, my Edge version number is that the problem you mentioned still exists, I am located on Windows operating system.
Only edge and chrome will appear this kind of situation the application of other do not.
It's worth mentioning that, not because of vscode, edge is automatically minimized when any application is maximized, which I guess is an intelligent optimization (although I don't really need it).
