After creating a new windows 2019 virtual server in Azure, I connected to it using RDP. After providing the credentials it opens the command prompt window and stays there forever. Closing it shows full plan window with just showing the bar having button to minimize, maximize or close the screen.
Tried deleting that VM and created another one and another one again but all has the same issue.
Tried to access it from another laptop, still the issue is same.
If someone has already gone through it please help.

That's the so called Server Core experience (similar to Linux server distribution such as Ubuntu Server), where you only have the shell access (PowerShell by default).

If you want the traditional desktop experience, choose the correct Windows Server 2019 image when creating virtual machines.

    Hi Raj,

It is very interesting never heard of this kind of issue, "command prompt window to stay forever". Can you please build another windows server version over the Azure VM and please let us know the results. However, you can raise the Microsoft Support case, if you feel the issue is related to Azure Server OS.

    Hope my suggestion helps you.

    Thank you
