Password for SessionDesktop

I'm trying to test Azure Virtual Desktop and getting blocked by the username and password for the 'SessionDesktop' in the webapp.

I have successfully created a HostPool an Application Group a workspace and a user. I can login to rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html with the user account and can see the 'SessionDesktop' app which I assume is the virtual desktop?

However, when trying to access it asks for a username and password. The username field is autopopulated with the email address of the User account I assigend the workspace to so I assume that its asking for that accounts password however I keep getting an incorrect UN/PW.

Where should I be looking to get the correct UN/PW so I can test this?

Thanks,
Dave.

    I HI Alan,

Thanks for the response. I do no have access to the Domain controlers. I created this with Azure AD as I didnt have a domain controler.

To confirm, I created a HostPool, then created a Desktop application group assiged to the host pool. Then added my test user account to that group.

At no point was I asked to create a username or password for the Desktop so I would assume that its the username/password for my test account but that is not working.

All I want to do is create a Virtual Desktop that I can login to to test some things. Is there any clear and consise documenation for this? This process is FAR easier in AWS.

    Thanks again,
    Dave.

Is your session host joined to a domain? These would be the domain credentials that are required here. The account should be in synced so it's likely the password is the same but the username might be different. Do you have access to the Active Directory environment if this is what is being used?
