Hello all,

I have a Dell Precision 7720 with the i7-7920HQ processor. It does Have vPro features, TPM 2.0, and all the other basic system requirements, but it will not pass on the compatibility checks. I just upgraded the motherboard to the i7-7920HQ from the i7-7700HQ processor to be able to meet or exceed the requirements. On the processor compatibility list, the i7-7820HQ is supported. And on the system compatibility list the Dell Precision 5520 is supported. That is just the same line in a smaller chassis, 14-15" versus my 17.3".

I should be more than okay for installation. How do I proceed?

David

Microsoft changes requirements for Windows 11 and this new requirement several processors are not supported.
Microsoft shared the following blog explaining the reason:
    https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2021/06/28/update-on-windows-11-minimum-system-requirements/
However, you may open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and file a suggestion asking your device to be supported.
