forest trust with same second level domain name

Hi we have two AD forests with this naming forest1.company.com and forest2.company.com its possible to create forest trust with such naming schema when second level domain name is same ?

    Hi,

    As long as the FQDN including level three is unique and is the root of each forest, then yes it is possible. You will need to configure conditional forwarders in each domain to point to the other domain, so name resolution works for both domains.
