Restoring Fonts

What is the best way to restore fonts to Microsoft Word? ex. Segona Book

Segona Book is a cloud font. Cloud fonts automatically get installed to a non-standard location at C:\Users\YourActualUserName\AppData\local\Microsoft\FontCache\4\CloudFonts\, with each font in its own folder. There's nothing special you have to do to restore them, your copy of Office will do it for you automatically. AppData is a hidden folder.

Please note, cloud fonts will only have the correct appearance in Microsoft 365, Office 2019 and Office 2021. Earlier versions of Word will substitute a different font unless you embed the fonts in your document.

Could you please tell us which version of Office are you using now?
Re-installing the fonts would be the best way to restore fonts to Microsoft Word.

For Office on Windows system, MS Office fonts can be found in the Fonts folder. You can access that folder and paste your MS Office fonts (.ttf files) in that folder to recover fonts. This path is:
C:\Windows\Fonts.

For Office for Mac, please refer to "Install and validate fonts in Font Book on Mac".
