Hi Team,
We have a issue with setting Android device screen orientation in MDM to stay in portrait mode regardless of the way the device is turned (portrait or landscape).

We have configured dedicated device and used Managed Home screen app with Screen Orientation settings defined in App configuration policies, which sets screen orientation for the app. But when device is moved to different position screen orientation also shifts.
Here are the settings we used:

Is there a way to push device setting to Android Enterprise to have fixed screen orientation on a device level?

@Dan Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

In our official article, it shows that the Managed Home Screen is the application used for corporate-owned Android Enterprise dedicated devices enrolled via Intune and running in multi-app kiosk mode.

To clarify this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:
1.Please check if you have configured the setting "kiosk mode" to "Multi-app" in Device restrictions profile under Fully Managed, Dedicated, and Corporate-Owned Work profile.

2.Please check if the app configuration policy is successfully deploy to the device. Click on Devices > Android devices > select the target android device > App configuration and then check the state of the app configuration policy.

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.

    Hi LuDaiMSFT-0289 ,
    Thanks for the answer.
The device restrictions settings that I have are, as there is only on app that will be used on the dedicated device.

I thought that by using Manage Home screen app you can force screen orientation for device? Or is that just to set screen orientation for the applications, that are used on dedicated device?
All the settings and policies are applied to the device successfully:

    The device that I'm using:
    Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab A
    model: SM-T580
    OS: Android 8.1

Is there a way to force screen orientation in single app Kiosk mode? Or is that option available just in multi app kiosk mode ?
