Hi All,
Has anyone successfully configured their Microsoft Edge Home Page URL settings using Intune Device Configuration Profile > Administrative Templates ?
Have been looking into this 'issue' for a while now, and have tried every combination of settings, guided by assistance from Intune Support - No Joy.
Is this 'broken' if so are there any workarounds ?
I'm deploying the configuration as part of Windows Autopilot deployment, Azure AD joined only.

Hi @Crystal-MSFT ,
I know this is an old thread but came across it when looking for an issue I am having.
We have configured our policies to set the "home page URL" to our intranet site and to enforce the home button to be shown on the address bar.
We can confirm these settings are in place when going to the "Edge://Policy" page.
This is not using the policy where it says "User can override", as we want this enforced.
Sadly, when investigating why the policy isn't working the default behaviour for the home button appears to be the new tab page. I cannot find anywhere a policy to force the home button to use the defined URL.
Can you please advise?

For anyone else coming across this and struggling to get it to work with the home button Microsoft have acknowledge the policy isn't working as expected.
They are currently investigating and I will reply here when resolved for completeness.

Based on my test, we can use the following method to set the Microsoft Edge Home Page URL.
Meanwhile, I also test to set the startup page via the following policies:. And the URL will display when I open new Edge.

Hi Crystal, thank you for providing excellent instructions! However, we have users who use the personal profile, and this seems to set that page as well. Anyway to adjust so it only sets the work profile?

anonymous user， From your description, it seem this is an Android device. For the above steps I provided, it is for Windows. For Android device, based on my research, we can try to configure app configuration policy to see if it can accomplish what we want. Here is a link for the reference:

Hi Crystal, this is actually for Windows 10 devices, not Android. I can make a new thread, however, it is relevant to this particular issue and solution.
So I have set a Device Configuration Profile for Windows 10>below are my settings:
Sites to open when the browser starts
Enabled
Action to take on startup
Enabled
Prevent Desktop Shortcut creation upon install default
Enabled
Allow installation
Enabled
Configure the home page URL
Enabled
Show Home button on toolbar
Enabled
Update policy override default
Enabled
It works flawlessly however, I am hoping to keep the personal and work profiles seperate, but if thats not possible, that is OK.

anonymous user，Thanks for the response. From your description, I know our issue is that the setting will apply to Edge on both personal profile and work profile. Sorry for the misunderstanding before.
I have tried to test in my environment and find the same phenomenon as yours. So I think currently it only apply to Edge without separating Edge profiles. For our request, I would recommend to feedback on Intune uservoice to see if we can add this new feature.

I know this thread is from 2020 - but in 2022 - use Configuration Profile and Settings Catalog.
Then define these settings :
Set the new tab page as the home page - Disabled
Configure the home page URL - Enabled
Home page URL (Device) - https://google.com
