Hi,
I have seen that while you zoom out and click on the names of city or localities present within a country, the boundary of that particular city or locality appears. Is there a quicker way to get the area of that city/locality using the boundary other than using measure distance and closing the shape? If so please let me know
another doubt I had was , as mentioned earlier we usually get boundaries if we click on the name of those city/locality. but there are cases where we get a pointer to a location within that city/locality instead of a boundary when we click it. Is there any way to overcome that?
If you are a developer, you can get the boundary with an API call as long as you know some details about which boundary you want. For example this iSDK sample shows Zipcodes in the USA https://www.bing.com/api/maps/sdkrelease/mapcontrol/isdk/sdsloadmultipleboundaries

let me explain my issue with an example.- we can get the boundary of LOMAS DE SAN LORENZO like this [https://www.bing.com/maps?osid=e33213a0-2c83-415a-bc02-99c8964830c7&cp=19.548532~-99.235891&lvl=15&style=h&v=2&sV=2&form=S00027 ] but if you were to try and obtain the boundary of EL RODEO TEPIC NAYARIT MX 63060 you will only get a pointer like this[https://www.bing.com/maps?osid=3fc9a1c2-6b21-4531-8040-2433654d4125&cp=21.522308~-104.918137&lvl=16&style=h&v=2&sV=2&form=S00027] not as a boundary in case of LOMAS DE SAN LORENZO. so my doubt was is there any way that I can get the boundaries in such cases. I'm ok with any zoom level as long as I get the boundary. I do not require any sort of granular level or any detailed route information. just the locality boundary
Your fist link has no postal code while your second link does. This provides more precise data which is likely the source of the difference you are seeing.
