Could I preview a single html file in visual studio 2022 like visual studio code?

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
For single html file, in VS 2022, you can click File > View in Browser (Ctrl + Shift + W) to preview it(or right-click the white space of this single html file > click View in Browser).
Besides, you can select File > Browse With… > Set as Default to change other browsers as the default browser.

The html file should keep opening in Visual Studio. If you want to go back to the html file, you can just go back to Visual Studio and check the html file.

I just test in VS 2022 version 17.11.2 and 17.11.3(the latest version), the "File > View in Browser" option/method still works.
May I know which version of VS 2022 you are using, and which step blocks you maybe? Is there any option missing on your side?
Did you focus your cursor on the single html file?
Please kindly share us more information to check further.
@Steve V, you are using Visual Studio Code(it's different from Visual Studio IDE, they are two different products).

No, VS Code doesn’t have built-in support for HTML preview but there are extensions available in the VS Code Marketplace. Open the Extensions view (Ctrl + Shift + X) and search on 'live preview' or 'html preview' to see a list of available HTML preview extensions.

I am using a current version of visual studio/visual studio code, downloaded and installed less than six months ago, and there is no such option under the file menu.
@Steev43230 , did you focus your cursor on the html file? I mean click the white space in the .html file, and then check File > View in Browser.
If your cursor has focused on the html file, then please check following:
BTW, since you mentioned Visual Studio Code, just note, Visual Studio(Visual Studio IDE) is different from Visual Studio Code, they are two different products. If you are using Visual Studio Code, then the feature might not be the same. What I mentioned above is related to Visual Studio(Visual Studio IDE), instead of Visual Studio Code.
