Is it possible to have OneDrive and Teams when first opened per AD user account to select the users email address in Active directory as its account by GPO or other method?

    Hi @Jim1977-Idaho

    Thanks for the clarification.

While to my knowledge, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to archive this.

If using Azure AD Connect, it may also be required for the users to login domain computers with the credentials (@CompanyIndustry.com) instead of the current (@mathieu.company .local) , in order to have Teams auto-populated with the @CompanyIndustry.com account.

Otherwise if possible I suppose simply adding UPN suffix would also work, if the local UPN is configured to match the email address of Office 365.
Let's say currently you are using user01@mathieu.company .local to login domain computers and his online email address is user01@CompanyIndustry.com.
Then you can add CompanyIndustry.com as UPN suffix and have the user login with user01@CompanyIndustry.com instead of user01@mathieu.company .local.
It would have the account user01@CompanyIndustry.com auto-populated in Teams.
