Hello Everyone

I am looking for information about the HA of Azure Services in Switzerland.
I have read several pages of Microsoft Learn, without really finding the information I need.

The distance between the CH-North and CH-West regions is less than 300 miles, so the HA GRS / GZRS is not available. Is there a way to activate GRS between these regions anyway ? ( with a rough idea of prices per services ?).

Does anyone know where can I find additional information, like what durability expressed in % is there in Switzerland for Azure Kubernetes Services, LoadBalancer, VNet, etc.. ? (Storage is clear with LRS and ZRS).

Thx in advance for help :)

Hello, as per the below Microsoft document, regional pairs for Switzerland geography are Switzerland North and Switzerland West*. It indicates that certain regions (including Switzerland West) are access restricted to support specific customer scenarios, such as in-country disaster recovery. These regions are available only upon request by creating a new support request in the Azure portal. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/availability-zones/cross-region-replication-azure

So you may open a Microsoft ticket to check the availability: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade/newsupportrequest

All the Azure availability information/SLAs can be found at: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/legal/sla/

Please search and click on the service to get the availability information. For example, when you click Azure Kubernetes Services, you will find that "For customers who have purchased an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Uptime SLA, we guarantee uptime of 99.95% for the Kubernetes API Server for AKS Clusters that use Azure Availability Zones and 99.9% for AKS Clusters that do not use Azure Availability Zones."
