Publish of Synapse Workspace gives cryptic error "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'filter')"

Hello,

we have an Azure Synapse Analytics workspace set up and integrated with Azure DevOps. The publish branch is the default workspace_publish.

When I am working in the main branch in the Azure Synapse Analytics web portal and hit the publish button, I receive the following rather cryptic error message:

The last time I worked in the workspace was last Friday and back then the publishing of the workspace worked like a charm. I double checked the commit history of the repository in this regard. I even reverted to a previous commit without success.

Based on similar errors with linkedServices that I found on the web, I checked for "filter" activities within the workspace. We have one filter-activity in a DataFlow, however I could not spot a problem there either.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the source of this error message? Or how to further debug it?

This issue has been mitigated. Can you please refresh the browser and test? Please confirm if you can publish. You may need to refresh their browsers to reflect the fix.
