Hello - it's my understanding that Managed Instance for Apache Cassandra is Cassandra v3.
The latest GA version of Apache Cassandra is v4 and has new features like date functions which we want to avail of.
Are there plans to provide Cassandra v4 offering? If so, what is the timeline.

Thanks

Hi, @MK RP Thanks for the question and for using the MS Q&A platform.
As we understand the ask here is you want to know if Cassandra v4 is supported and from when.

Currently, the support is for 3.11. Yes, we are ready to support 4.0 as well however we do not have any ETA yet, once we get the ETA I will update it here also if there are issues that need to be fixed during the preview, those will be addressed prior to a GA rollout.
Can you please tell us more about your use case what is the size etc..

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Regards
    Geetha
