Hi! I am hoping someone can help me create a formula that will help me track expiration dates.

I would like to write a formula that helps track a training expiration date without having the expiration date in the excel sheet. For example if someone completes a training on 03/01/21 and it expires in 3 years. I would like the cell to remain normal until 30 days before the training is due, once it hits 30 days I would like it to turn yellow and once it expires I would like it to turn red.

I have tried working on this for several days and haven't been able to find a solution. I would appreciate any help.

Thank you!

How about having the calculations in conditional format?
How about entering the year and month and day separately, and then based on the year, +3 years will make any part of the line red, and (+3 years - 30 days) will make any part of the line yellow.
