Exchange 2010 Convert Public folder sub folder into shared mailbox

Hi, We are decommissioning Exchange 2010 but we have lot of public folder with mail enable on them but also these public folder have sub folder which are link the distribution list.

I would like to convert all public sub folder into individual shared mailbox.

e.g.

public folder: Folder 1

                           -> Marketing Emails  

                           -> Sales  

I would like to convert the sub folders into shared mailbox not the full public folder

    There is no built-in way to do that.

    You will need to create a new shared mailbox manually or with a script, and then mail disable the public folders and move their respective SMTP addresses to the new shared mailbox.
