Query on Azure Storage

Hi All

I am new to Azure Storage and i have a storage account in azure.

Under Containers tab-i can see 3 containers
Under File shaers tab- i can see 10 shares.

i have a requirement to upload a backup of a server which is 8TB to this storage account. i need this backup for one year.
i want to upload this backup to this storage account.
Do i need to create container or File share and upload the backup data. I want to put retention for this backup to one year. and i dont want to touch other containers or file shares. The retention should be only on this backup data.
Its 8TB will storage explorer help me upload 8TB. experts guide me
