I have been seeing an MSCOREE.DLL-related error. This stops me from launching some applications which is very annoying. The error that appears says MSCOREE.DLL not found or is missing. How can I resolve this error please?

This DLL belongs to the Microsoft .NET.
In case you installed the Microsoft .NET, try uninstalling it and restart your PC and then reinstall it.
