Unable to publish to app service: There is not enough space on the disk

Hi,
I am trying to deploy my asp.net with angular application to app service, but no matter what SKU I set, I end up getting this error:

An error occured during deployment. Status Code: 500, Details: {"Message":"An error has occurred.","ExceptionMessage":"There is not enough space on the disk.\r\n"

(by the way, the error message itself has a spelling error (occurred, not occured))

Did you try to clean space on your PC?

I've tried it both on my mac and pc. The space was never the main issue, as I had plenty of space on both machines. The same error occurs when using GitHub actions to deploy.

Please share your Quotas information by referring to the answers in this thread. You can also follow the steps above to troubleshoot the problem.

As I said previously, I tried every SKU (F1, B1, B2, P1V2), and I haven't reached my quotas as this is the first deployment. I also tried to purchase a developer support plan, but that says "an error occurred," too. I tried to contact support, and after two days, I got no updates. I guess it's time to move away from azure, at least for me. That cloud they built is just for enterprises and not individuals. And I am sorry to post this question, as it is a server-side thing tied to the app service itself, and I don't believe the azure community can do anything about it.

it would help if told us:

what type of resource (and service plan) you are deploying to
what are you using for deployment (ftp, web deploy, kudu)
the size of your published deployment folder

try a --debug

also what type of project are you uploading? you said angular, so az web app should detect it is a node project, upload the working folder via zip deployment. be sure the package.json has the correct run command.

if just an angular project, I'd build and deploy the build folder as --html, rather than using node and the ng serve command on azure

It's an Angular project with ASP.NET MVC and IdentityServer.

I'm not sure your project type supports source publish.
I'd build and do a folder publish

dotnet publish

then I'd run the deploy command from the publish folder.

az webapp up --name <AppServiceName> --runtime <desired_runtime> --os-type <Windows|Linux>

note: be sure the application setting SCM_DO_BUILD_DURING_DEPLOYMENT is false on the azure site.
