Teams Developer Portal's "Preview In Teams" button showing "App does not have the required permissions for this operation"

I am trying to use Teams new Developer portal (previously using App studio) to debug my custom application which includes a custom tab and a bot. When I try to debug the app using "Preview in Teams" button , it opens up a dialog which says "Manifest parsing has failed" and when I close the dialog it shows a message in the developer portal "App does not have the required permissions for this operation".

The validation checker doesn't show any error message. I have attached the screenshot here as well. Any help would be appreciated.

I am adding a sample package which contains the manifest file. The functionality doesn't work even if I create a very simple personal app with just html content url. Let me know what I am missing here.229888-manifest.txt

Any update? We are having the same problem, impossible to publish new bots at this moment because this bug !! :-(

There is no such update to share as of now. Engineering team is looking into the issue. We will inform you once we have any update. Thanks for understanding.

There is a limitation from the SDK we are using in MS Teams.
Could you please try in the Dev Portal website ? https://dev.teams.microsoft.com/

I have tried what you suggested. I have tried to add the same package and the clicked on "Preview in Teams". It redirected me to to my teams channel on web and opened a pop up which said "The app you want to add doesn’t exist in this org or you don’t have permission to access it."

I have added the screenshot. Please let me know if I am missing anything here. This needs to be fixed asap as this is becoming critical for us.

Hello guys,
I am getting the same issue and cannot Add/Update the manifest to MS Teams, Engineering team please take serious steps because it is making a very bad experience impact on our customers.
The developer portal is also not working tried to upload and publish from there too.

Update:

As a temporary workaround, engineering team has removed the "Preview in Teams" button from Teams client for now.

We tried to repro the issue with the manifest file provided and faced similar errors.
When clicking "Preview in Teams" button, it opens up a dialog which says, "Manifest parsing has failed" and when I close the dialog it shows a message in the developer portal "App does not have the required permissions for this operation".

We have raised a bug for the same and engineering team is looking into it. We will inform you once we get any further update.

If anyone is interested, the actual issue still persists. Developer portal is not working. However uploading package here in this portal is working now . You can use it to upload your teams app package or create new one
