Hi Team,

I want to backup VM on Azure stack HCI using MABS. I have been not able to install MABS due to following error :

Invalid vault credentials provided. The file is either corrupted or does not have the latest credentials associated with recovery service. (ID: 34513)
We recommend you download a new vault credentials file from the portal and use it within 2 days.

I have tried the Microsoft documentation to troubleshoot the error : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/backup-azure-mabs-troubleshoot
Tried downloading vault credentials freshly - didn't work.

How can we rectify this error ?

Regards,
Aishwarya Upadhye

Hello @Aishwarya Upadhye Thank you for your post and apologies for the inconvenience this must have caused!

I see that you're trying to backup a VM on Azure stack HCI using MABS and being greeted with error message. There is a known issue with older agents. There was a change on AAD Authentication which was fixed on newest agent. So as work around download latest MARS Agent and replace the Installation File of old MARS on the extracted installation MABS under MARSInstaller folder.

    Hope this helps!
