Editor PlaceHolder Text not showing

I have just upgraded My visual studio 2022 17.2.3. I added an Editor to xamarin forms project and set it's placeholder Text.While debugging on my android phone the placeholder text doesn't shows up in the editor control.
It shows up only when i start editing the text of the placeholder.
