Have to create Email alert for the failure of function app. Created application insights and getting logging information. Have Blob trigger, HTTP trigger. How to create appropriate alert and choose the alert signal to receive through email.

Looking for alert for Blob trigger.However, under signal selection not getting any option as custom logs or anything with failure. Suggest what signal to select.

While you create the alert rule you have an option to select condition:

There you get "Custom Log Search" as an option:

You can configure the type of trigger or resource on which you want to perform this action while creating the action group:
