Hello,

I'am currently facing to an issue. I have the following infrastructure and I want to change my infrastructure to HTTPS and make certificate renewable. For this I follow lot of tutorial which explaining to create two records in DNS zone, one CNAME www with mywebsite.azurewebsites.net and second one TXT with custom verification domain ID. Nonetheless, when I try to add the custom domain it doesn't want. I think my issue came from it specific design which impose my DNS to have CNAME records with public ip adress from my app gateway.

Someone know how to make validation ?

Kind regards, Kilian GOËTZ.

@KILIAN GOETZ We understand you are having issues with renewing your app service certificate due to not being able to edit your DNS entries.

If you are unable to add the necessary domain DNS entries required for renewal, please look into mail verification. This will send an email to the domain owner's email address with further instructions.

"Confirm the domain by sending an email to the domain administrator. Instructions are provided when you select the option." Source

Please let us know if mail verification does not work.
