Windows FU 20H2 to 21H2

Question

Hello,

I am in the process of testing the upgrade process for 21H2 (Downloaded through Volume license ) through SCCM using a upgrade Task Sequence, During the the process it get stuck at 11% and get the error code 0X80004005. Looking at the SCCM logs it mentions

Windows Setup failed with hexadecimal exit code 0xC1900204 (decimal 3247440388). To identify the type of issue, lookup it against the table of known values of Windows Setup errors online. OSDUpgradeWindows 05/09/2022 09:05:05 11588 (0x2D44)

I have checked Language setting and ran all the scans but nothing is reported as wrong.

Two last test that I have done is to manually run the 21H2 Setup and get the below error Image

That got me questioning the downloaded file from Volume license. So quickly created a new Task Sequence using the 21H2 files and that installs fine as a new pc / Rebuild TS.

The 20H2 OS version is should as 19042 and the new TS shows 21H2 19044 can any one shed some light on why i get the above errors when manually install or through SCCM upgrade TS process?
