ServicePoint.ReceiveBufferSize Property

Definition

Gets or sets the size of the receiving buffer for the socket used by this ServicePoint.

public:
 property int ReceiveBufferSize { int get(); void set(int value); };
public int ReceiveBufferSize { get; set; }
member this.ReceiveBufferSize : int with get, set
Public Property ReceiveBufferSize As Integer

Property Value

A Int32 that contains the size, in bytes, of the receive buffer. The default is 8192.

Exceptions

The value specified for a set operation is greater than Int32.MaxValue.

Examples

The following code example sets the value of this property.

Caution

WebRequest, HttpWebRequest, ServicePoint, and WebClient are obsolete, and you shouldn't use them for new development. Use HttpClient instead.
