This topic describes how to use filters in Enterprise Portal for Microsoft Dynamics AX. Filters display a subset of the information in a list.

The Quick Filter

Use this procedure to filter a list page in Enterprise Portal by using the Quick Filter.

  1. Enter a word or value in the Quick Filter box.

  2. Select a field in the list.

  3. Click Apply filter.

The Advanced Filter

Use this procedure to filter a list page in Enterprise Portal by using the Advanced Filter.

  1. Click Expand advanced filter.

  2. Select a field in the Select field list.

  3. Select an operator in the list.

  4. Enter a word or value in the box.

  5. Click Apply filter.

  6. To add more filters, click Add filter, and then repeat steps 2 through 5.

To remove a filter, click the delete icon next to the filter in the pane, and then click Apply filter to update the list. To remove all filters, click Reset Filter.
