BrokerPriority.RemoteServiceName Property

Gets or sets the remote service name associated with the BrokerPriority object.

Property Value

Type: System.String
A String value that specifies the name of a Service Broker service to be used as a criterion for determining if the conversation priority applies to a conversation.

Remarks

If ANY is specified for the remote service name, the conversation priority can be applied to any conversation, regardless of which remote service it uses. If the name of a service is specified, the conversation priority can be applied only to conversations where one of the following is true:

  • The initiator conversation endpoint is associated with a target service whose name matches RemoteServiceName.

  • The target conversation endpoint is associated with an initiator service whose name matches RemoteServiceName.

RemoteServiceName must specify a service in the current database. The RemoteServiceName default is ANY.
