DistributionPublisher.DistributionDatabase Property

Gets or sets the name of the distribution database used by the Publisher.

Property Value

Type: System.String
The name of the distribution database used by the Publisher.

Remarks

DistributionDatabase is a required property.

The DistributionDatabase property can only be retrieved by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor.

The DistributionDatabase property can only be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor.

Retrieving the DistributionDatabase property is equivalent to executing sp_helpdistpublisher.

Setting the DistributionDatabase property is equivalent to executing sp_adddistpublisher or sp_changedistpublisher.
