Delete Database
The Delete Database
operation deletes an existing database in the database account.

If you require complete feature support for all Azure Cosmos DB resources, we recommend using the Cosmos DB Resource Provider.

The {databaseaccount} is the name of the Azure Cosmos DB account created under your subscription. The {db-id} value is the user generated name/ID of the database, not the system generated ID (rid). |

Remarks
Performing a DELETE on a database deletes the database resource and its child resources, that is, collections, documents, attachments, stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions, users, and permissions within the database.
