Surface portals overview

Surface portals provide IT admins with a centralized solution to manage and monitor Surface devices at scale, with insights and visibility into your environment.

With Surface portals, you can:

  • Centralize management of device warranties and support requests. Initiate single or bulk warranty claims.
  • Gain insights into your warranty status and claims—in a single view.
  • Monitor the health of all your Surface devices and get notifications about any unusual device status, which can help reduce IT costs.
  • Access a unified interface for Surface device management tasks.

Note

Move to modern: On August 31, 2025, Surface support will be moving off Microsoft Services Hub. Don’t wait - get improved support now using the Surface Support Portal or the Surface Management Portal.
