Set up Shopify payment methods

In Shopify, you can set up several payment methods, such as PayPal, Visa, AMEX, Apple Pay, and so on. You can map these Shopify payment methods to Business Central payment methods as follows:

  1. Select the Search for Page icon, enter shopify shops and then select the related link.

  2. Open the Shopify Shop Card page for the shop for which you want to sync the locations.

  3. Select Related > Payment Method Mapping.

  4. The Shopify payment methods appear automatically. In the Payment Method field, you can map the Business Central payment method.

  5. In the Priority field, you can assign a priority to the payment method. This field is used when a customer pays with multiple payment methods. If more than one payment method has been used, the program takes the payment with the highest priority, followed by the highest amount.

If you set up a payment method mapping, then the created sales document has a Payment Method Code assigned.
