Introduction
When a customer completes their checkout in the online store, the payment information is saved as a transaction. You can have multiple transactions linked to the order, such as when a customer uses a gift card to pay for part of the order and then uses a credit card or PayPal for the remaining amount.
If you use Shopify Payment as a payment provider, then you can view information about money that's received from the customer by the payment provider. Additionally, you can view payouts from Shopify to your bank account.
