Enable your custom URL

A custom URL gives your Azure Databricks account a single, branded entry point (for example: acme.databricks.com) that replaces the collection of per-workspace URLs that account users navigate today. After enabling a custom URL, users can log in to their Azure Databricks account and move freely between workspaces and Databricks One without reauthenticating.

Requirements

• Your account must have a pre-assigned custom URL. Check this by navigating to Settings > Account settings in the Azure Databricks account console. If the custom URL setting is not visible, you do not have a pre-assigned URL. To request one or rename your existing one, contact your Azure Databricks account team.

• Your workspaces must not use Private Link Inbound (front-end). URLs for inbound Private Link-protected workspaces fall back to legacy per-workspace URLs.

Enable the custom URL

1. In the account console, go to Settings > Account settings.
2. Toggle on the Custom URL setting to enable web traffic routing to the custom URL.
3. Optionally, enable the auto-redirect setting to automatically redirect all legacy workspace URLs to your custom URL.

After you enable the custom URL, navigate to Databricks One at acme.azuredatabricks.net/one. Users in your account can now access assets across any workspace they have access to without being prompted to log in again.
