This page shows how to configure Aha! to enable authentication from Azure Databricks for the Aha! connector. After completing the steps on this page, use the credentials you retrieve to create a Unity Catalog connection in Azure Databricks.
Prerequisites
- An Aha! account with permission to generate a personal API key.
- The
idea_organizationstable requires an Aha! Ideas Advanced plan. The other source tables don't require a specific plan.
Configure Aha!

- Sign in to your Aha! account.
- Go to Settings > Personal > Developer.
- On the API keys tab, click Generate API key.
- Copy the generated API key and store it securely.
- Note your account subdomain — the part of your Aha! URL before
.aha.io. For example, forhttps://databricks.aha.io, the subdomain isdatabricks.
