Important
This feature is in Beta. Workspace admins can control access to this feature from the Previews page. See Manage Azure Databricks previews.
This page shows how to create a Unity Catalog connection to your RabbitMQ broker. The managed RabbitMQ connector uses this connection to authenticate to your broker without requiring credentials in your pipeline configuration.
Authentication methods
The RabbitMQ connector authenticates using a username and password. When you create the connection, you provide the broker host, username, and password, along with the virtual host and port of the RabbitMQ broker.
Next steps
Use Catalog Explorer to create a RabbitMQ connection so that any user with USE CONNECTION or ALL PRIVILEGES can create pipelines. See Create a RabbitMQ connection.
