What happens is that the drivers we have available for Intel USB 3.0 controller are for Windows* 7 only.
Drivers for either Windows* 8 or Windows* 8.1 are provided by Microsoft* directly through Windows* Update.

This is a "personal reasons" - Problem.
And Yes, what I mean is that - the drivers that You have available for Intel USB 3.0 controller for Windows* 7 only.
And I have understand that the driver will be provided by Microsoft*.
But my Problem is, that the Windows* 7 - driver is copied on my Backup - Installations-DVD , by a mistake , by me.
If I make a Re-Installation I get the same Problem.
The Device-Manager told me every Time that the Windows* 7 - driver is the newest.
Can You give me the name of the files to delete (e.g. in windows\inf or windows\system32 and so on).

The only way to uninstall Intel USB 3.0 driver is by Programs and Features in Control Panel.
There are no steps to uninstall the driver manually.
Please try uninstalling it from Program and Features, and let me know if it works or not.

So, nun sitze ich vor meiner Kiste und versuche den Treiber los zu werden.
Also: appwiz.cpl -> und ich finde nur vier Intel-Einträge (Grafiktreiber, Management Energie-Komponenten, Rapid Storage-Technologie und SDK for OpenCL-CPU Only Runtime Package). Alle vier wohl eher nicht.
Im Verzeichnis c:\windows\inf sind oem15.inf (pnf) und oem27.inf (pnf) zuständig. Diese habe ich wegkopiert. Im Gerätemanager dann habe ich die Treiber deinstalliert und nach geänderter Hardware gesucht. Und schwupps sind oem15.inf (pnf) und oem27.inf (pnf)
wieder da. Die Installation des Standard PCI-zu-USB erweiterter Hostcontroller erzeugt immer noch Code 52.
Meine Frage ist nun: Wie heißt von Microsoft der Treiber und wie kann ich ihn installieren?
