Issue with Incorrect Account Redirection When Signing into Azure Resource Explorer

Hello everyone,

I have an active Microsoft account (usernameA), and I can sign in to the Azure Portal without any issues.

Problem: When I try to access https://resources.azure.com, I am automatically redirected to an old, deleted account (usernameB) during the sign-in process. This account was deleted several months ago, and the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) no longer works for this user.

Steps I’ve Already Tried:

  • Cleared browser cache and cookies
  • Tried using incognito/private mode
  • Attempted with a different browser

Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue. It seems like the old account might still be linked to my current Microsoft account or stored somewhere in the system.

Question: Is there a way to fix this incorrect redirection? Can Microsoft Support check if there's an issue with my user account?
