PowerShell Invoke-RestMethod with SAML POST

Hello everybody,

I need to access a Rest API with Invoke-RestMethod.

In our Company we use SAML for Authentication.

F5 Big-IP is the Identity Provider.

To get an SAML Token, my Request will be redirectet from one F5 to an other (root). This request is working with an POST.

Now the Problem: The POST uses JavaScript. So when I try to connect to API i get the Result "Your Browser does not support JavaScript. Please activate ...)".

Does anybody knows this Problem or does anybody has a Solution/Workaround for this.

The Problem is that PowerShell does not support JavaScript Redirection at Invoke-RestMethod. Any other Ideas?

Thanks,

Regards Patrick

    Hi Patrick,

I'll be happy to see someone here answering your question, however it may be in your interest for me to point out this forum is mostly dealing with regular end user issues - your question, also considering it's about a company environment, wouldn't really fall among that.

So you may find it worthwhile to consider posting in TechNet or MSDN forums. Also note that people appreciate posts in the language of the forum chosen, in this case German. You are welcome to post in English in the English language communities.

    Best regards,

    Jorg
