Ö Key isn't working.

Hello,

one of my keys isn't working (I'm using a german keyboard layout and the right language packet to this keyboard and I've selected the right one.

It isn't a hardware defect cause I tried another keyboard. It isn't an driver problem I think cause it is working on another User (the key is not working on my normal administration account, but I tested it on the ADMINISTRATOR account itself and there it is working). If I hold the Key it's working too. I tried out different things like looking if the language change shortcut is taking the input. It's not the case. I tried the standard system repair commands under elevated rights ("sfc /scannow" and "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth" and "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth" and "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth".

I tried surly too to change the keyboard language - Nothing. The key itself is working on another language only the Ö isn't working. It's also not working with the screen-keyboard. I tried some methods to uninstall the whole german language packet, but I wasn't successful. I tried to delete the entrys in regedit too, after a restart there were there again. At least if I'm uninstalling the language packet over the menu I find anywhere some kind of german language data in windows, like login screen or like I've said in setting, regedit etc. I did also check the ease on access center settings. Another language option like Austria (there is existing the Ö too) isn't working too, same problem. I'm on the end of my knowledge -.- Sadly I cannot tell you since which build I have this Error, cause I was to lazy to go into bugfixing work earlier.

I was using a old logitech keyboard and bought a Steelseries Pro so I don't think it's the Manufacturers driver

I didn't try yet the DISM repair option with a manual download windows install.wim file over the media creation tool.

And yes sorry this post is a little bit unformatted

Any further question to my System are welcome.

Best Regards Tom
