Hi Michael,
This usually happens when we use our old credentials to log in. To avoid this issue, we need to use the username we created when we upgraded to Teams Essentials. (Attached is a screenshot for reference)
The purchase and subscription information can also be accessed when signed in to the admin center (with the new credentials), https://aka.ms/admincenter, > Billing, > Your products.
